ISKANDAR PUTERI, Dec 3 — The Johor government will request the deputy public prosecutor to see if the fines meted out against the parties that caused the pollution incident in Sungai Kim Kim, Pasir Gudang in 2019 were adequate.

JOHOR BAHRU, Dec 3 — Victims of the Sungai Kim Kim pollution are urging the government to reassess the penalties imposed on those accountable for the river contamination as they argue that the punishment is insufficient in light of the considerable suffering experienced by the victims.
